I loved the new book and, while disappointed, find it completely reasonable the thread with Adayal wasn’t resolved, I was hoping you would share any of the character development you created for her. What was her life like and how did she come to live in the forest? What were the causes of the twinned order threads? Thanks for all the enjoyment you’ve provided over the years!
At times, I wish I could write more about many of the “supporting characters” in my books. Sometimes, it’s proved possible, as with Justen and Cerryl, but often not. Again, I appreciate the support.

Technical curiosity that I was reminded of. Many fa tasks authors make errors when it comes to how sharp. Heavy or maneuverable a sword is. You generally don’t but the trope did rear it’s head in Nylan’s books.
Was there a practical reason that Lornian blades were unrealistically heavy and dull or was that more just trying to point out the technological superiority Nylan was coming from?
Your point is well-taken, but part of that is also a result of Nylan’s background. He’s coming from a high tech background where excess weight can be a problem.
Thank you for your answer, sir. Don’t know that it’s really a point. Sure, my nerdy self with experience went “Hey, swords aren’t heavy and dull.” But that’s the same part that says “Hey, I can’t mentally ride weather patterns and alter the globe.” It was clearly for a story purpose, just something I had been curious about.
Thank you again.
