Sir, will there be anymore Recluce stories after The Last of the First?
At this point, I honestly don’t know if there will be another Recluce book. I have some ideas, but I can’t yet say if they’ll result in a book. I wish I could be more definitive, but I won’t promise anything until I know I can deliver it.
Last of the First would certainly be a fitting end to your Recluse Saga, but I’m positive many of hope that’s not the case. For myself, I hope you continue with more stories of Hamor and Fairhaven. If you don’t, I’m grateful to have read Recluse since I started reading it in the mid 90s as a teenager!
I am saddened to hear the end is near for Recluse novels. I always wanted to see several expansions of topics you’ve brought up in the past. Like another mage like Justin practicing mass casualties magic, more individuals passing through from other dimensions, or even the first white mage to experiment with body exchanges. Either way, thank you for this wonderful series, that I continue to reread.
