The Grand Illusion
I ordered the Legalist from Amazon.co.uk about six months ago. Yesterday they cancelled the order saying they cannot obtain the book. Has TOR reduced the numbers published? Just thought you should know as I have the full Recluse series to date and a lot of the others a pity to have to search elsewhere to get them.
Thank you for letting me know. It appears someone screwed up when a pre-order can’t be filled. I’ve asked Tor to look into the matter. Whether that will do any good is another question.
The Legalist harcopy book is still avalable for sale at other UK outlets.
I had a similar problem the German Amazon (.de) as I pre-ordered one Mr. Modesitt´s books and after European publication it was notified that will not be shipped in one month. I been following other publication schedules and some of those coming from Tor seems to have the same problem, delayed or just not available.
Thus I have given up using Amazon as a bookseller and moved to scifier or blackwell´s for my book needs.
