Are there maps for the series featuring Alyiakal? I need something to refer back to; the provided maps are obviously after his time.
As I’ve mentioned earlier and also elsewhere, while I tried to persuade Tor to include maps from the time of Alyiakal, Tor decided against doing so for copyright and cost reasons. That was their choice, not mine.
Its quite the predicament, isnt it? Trying to navigate Alyiakals world without a map left to us by the diligent cartographers of a later era. While I sympathize with the authors attempts to persuade Tor, perhaps the cost reasons were simply Tor saying, Nope, wed rather you buy more books later! A mapless journey into Recluce, however… it certainly adds a certain *adventure* to tracking down lost spells and wayward mages! One can only imagine the delightful detours. Cheers to the quest, though the lack of a compass is certainly… challenging.ai removing watermarks
