January Question

When will we see another Recluce book? Will you consider writing one about druids of Naclos?

At present, I’m working on another Imager Portfolio book, and since I’m only about halfway through it, I frankly haven’t given much thought to what I’m going to write next. At least some readers will be pleased to know that my esteemed editor would very much like me to continue writing Recluce books… and, if possible, I try to avoid displeasing my editor too often, but exactly what any forthcoming Recluce book might be remains to be seen. At least for now.

I haven’t tried the Imager books yet, but I’ve enjoyed the philosophical aspects of your various books for many years.

I can’t think of anything that didn’t have SOME sort of subtext. I’ve even tried looking for those various cause and effect scenarios in the news and my personal life.

Many thanks for the many, many books that are enjoyable at multiple levels.

    Same here,

I would love to see another book from the Recluce Saga. They haven’t been able to translate them to German yet, luckily enough the original ones are available in online stores.

Many thanks for the work you put in your books. It is very much appreciated.

Recluce, Imager Portfolio… Sci-Fi follow ups to Elysium, Octagonal, Flash, etc.

    Color me indiscriminate.

I’m so excited to hear you might write another Recluse book. I’ve enjoyed all your various books but the first one I read by you was “Recluse” and it holds a special place in my heart. Maybe you have a story to tell about the druids and maybe you don’t but I admit that I’ve always wished for another peek into their world.

Enjoy your books. Read most of them more then once. Would love to read how Hamor become Unified. But; they’re so many untold stories – I will enjoy what ever you write.

I’m with Ed. What ever you write, it’s sure to be wonderful. Sure, I’m impatient to read more and more about The world of Recluce, but all of your creations are fantastic! Thank you for enriching our world with all of yours.

It is always good to hear that you may continue the Recluce Saga! After reading your two recent books over in Hamor, I would love to read about how that land comes together as one nation. If I remember right, there was a mention in one of your books about how an emperor had come from Recluce, it would be cool to follow that thread…

Thank you as always for your amazing novels. can’t wait for your future endeavors either fantasy or scifi!

I’d enjoy a story about Naclos, but I’d really like to read about the founding of Fairhaven. Why did the whites need a haven? How did they deal with the black temples? How did they come to control all white (and black!) wizards in their sphere of influence? How did they begin to dominate eastern Candar; what was the plan? That’s at least two books worth right there. 🙂

Been in a slump lately (more like a couple of years now), having trouble getting a hold of the other Recluce books. Have 8 of them so far, can’t seem to find the rest. Very biased with the series unfortunately (have read The Magic Engineer 9 times already!) and have not had the chance to read the other series (or even find ’em here in the Philippines). Hopefully, will get the courage to order them online (bit of a taboo from where am at now). Worship your work! and do hope to get a hold of the other 10 that I don’t have yet.
