August Question

Are you thinking about creating another totally new fantasy series?

I’m not to that point yet.  I’m still working on finishing the last Imager Portfolio book about Quaeryt [not necessarily the last Imager book, just the last one about him], and I’m committed to another Recluce book after that.  When that’s done… well, we’ll see.

Do you have any new science fiction series in the works (or any more singletons?)

  2. The only science fiction book in the works is The One-Eyed Man, due out in October of 2013.

    Hi,

Have you ever considered to write a book about Cerryl the Great? The two books about Cerryl are your bst books.

    Gretings, Jan

    1. I can’t say that I have considered writing another book about Cerryl, but right now, it looks unlikely.

    Hi Mr. Modesitt:
Love all of your fantasy series, any teasers about the future Recluse novel??? Maybe a geographic location???

    1. No teasers yet, not when I haven’t even started to write it.

what’s the name of the next imager novel?

    1. The tentative title for the fifth book about Quaeryt is Rex Regis. It’s tentative until the editor, publisher, and sales department agree.

Where can I get the Saga of Recluce

        1. The Saga of Recluce begins with The Magic of Recluce and currently runs 16 books. All the Recluce books are available through Amazon or Barnes & Noble online, and usually are available at large bookstores such as B&N, Powell’s, and Books-A-Million.
